After making the move to wonderful Weymouth from London in 2013, I love enjoying the beauty of the Dorset countryside, as well as the stunning Dorset coastline and breathtaking scenery. I am a firm believer in how good it makes you feel to spend time outdoors.
My other sporting passions include tennis, pickleball and cycling, as well as doing the odd ‘Swim-Run’ event or triathlon from time to time.
I have always loved discovering new sports (just when you think you might have tried them all!!).
In 2024, I started getting interested in Nordic Walking and decided I would set myself a target to become an instructor in order to introduce the delights of Nordic Walking to others.
I am delighted to now be an accredited British Nordic Walking instructor. I enjoy organising Nordic walks and training sessions around Weymouth, Portland and sometimes further afield in Dorset.
In my coaching, I follow the International Nordic Walking Association-approved 10-step Nordic Walking method

International Nordic Walking Association Definition

INWA Nordic Walking is a full-body exercise that intensifies natural walking by actively incorporating a pair of specifically designed Nordic Walking poles.
It maintains the fundamental elements of healthy, biomechanically correct walking, including upright posture, co-ordinated movement, and proper alignment.
